About Ned Colletti

LA5 Member Ned Colletti has worked in Major League Baseball for 35 years, negotiating billions of dollars in contracts with MLB players and developing winning teams and numerous championship and Hall of Fame Baseball players.

Ned led the Los Angeles Dodgers as General Manager for nine seasons, leading the team to five post-season appearances including three in the League Championship Series. He was born in Chicago and lived the first five years of his life in a garage before the family moved into an 899-square foot brick home in suburban Franklin Park. Ned was the first in his family to attend and graduate from a university - Northern Illinois University. From his blue collar roots, he developed a work ethic that is relentless, loyal and passionate.

About Chris Voss

LA5 Member Christopher Voss is the author of “Never Split The Difference – Negotiating As If Your Life Depended On It” and the CEO of The Black Swan Group a business negotiation advisory, coaching and training firm. Chris was the FBI’s lead international kidnapping negotiator.

Chris’ company has been solving business negotiation problems with hostage negotiation strategies throughout the world since his retirement from the FBI in 2007. Chris also teaches in the M.B.A. programs at The University of Southern California and Georgetown University. His students and clients have used these techniques successfully in everything from a negotiation between a husband and a wife over a Christmas tree, to a billion dollar Wall Street transaction.
